The Cisco Powerline AV Utility is used to set up security for the Powerline Fast Ethernet adapters and upgrade its firmware.

To install the utility, follow the instructions below:

NOTE: If you're using a Mac® computer, click here.

Step 1:
Insert the Linksys Setup CD into your CD-ROM drive.

QUICK TIP: If you do not have the Setup CD, you can download the utility from the product’s Support page at Linksys Support Site. For more instructions, click here.

Step 2:
When the Cisco Powerline AV Utility - InstallShield Wizard appears, click Next to begin the installation process.

Step 3:
Read the License Agreement. Select I accept the terms of the license agreement and click Next.

Step 4:
Enter the necessary information for your Powerline adapter in the provided fields and click Next.

Step 5:
Under Setup Type, select Complete then click Next.

Step 6:
Click Install.

The installation will take a few minutes.

Step 7:
Once the installation is complete, click Finish.

NOTE: You can tick the Launch Cisco Powerline Utility now checkbox to open the Powerline utility.

You have now successfully installed the Cisco Powerline AV Utility.

QUICK TIP: To access the configuration utility, click Start > All Programs > Cisco Systems > Cisco Powerline AV Utility.
