Overview of the External Storage feature for the Linksys E7350

This article provides an overview of the External Storage feature of the Linksys E7350 AX1800 Dual-Band WiFi 6 Router.

NOTE:  The USB storage feature is only supported on the parent Linksys E7350 (the router connected to your modem).  If you have the EasyMesh™ feature enabled, the USB storage feature is not supported on child nodes that you are using to extend your Wi-Fi.

To access this feature, follow the instructions below:

 
Step 1:
Access the web interface of your router.  For instructions, click here.

Step 2:
Go to the User-added image tab.

Step 3:
Click on External Storage.

The table below shows the settings that can be configured under External Storage:

Disk

This screen allows you to adjust your Disk settings.  For more information, click here.

The parent Linksys E7350 supports the following file systems:  FAT, FAT32, NTFS, and HFS+ journaled / non-journaled.
 
Media Server
This screen allows you to adjust your Media Server settings.  For more information, click here.

This screen allows you to adjust your FTP Server settings.  For more information, click here.

Administration
In the Administration page, you can create users and groups or manage anonymous access to your drive.
